10 of 12. Parts of 3 Roman temples are incorporated into S. Nicola in Carcera, near the Theater of Marcellus. The church was built between Roman temples, using the outer walls of the Roman temples as the outer walls of the church. The space between the columns was just filled in with whatever was handy.
